A period of roughly four hours, including pickup and return in Strasbourg, can be considered as a starting point. You might choose a main stop in Obernai followed by Barr or another nearby pause, subject to traffic and your walking time. The stops are agreed before confirmation; this is an outline rather than a guaranteed minute-by-minute schedule.

More time in one place, less time driving

Obernai offers an accessible introduction to historic Alsatian streets and squares. Barr provides another village setting amid the vineyards. You can spend longer in one place and drop a second stop if that suits you better. Riquewihr, Kaysersberg and Colmar are farther away and should not be squeezed into this same short itinerary; a full day is a more sensible format for that area.

Fit the outing around your stay

Share your hotel or other Strasbourg pickup address and the time you need to be back. If a train or another appointment follows, allow a suitable buffer.
